Christene Leader-Scott, LPC

Registered Play Therapist

Christene Leader-Scott, LPC-S, RPT-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor through the Association for Play Therapy (APT). She is EMDR trained and certified in substance abuse evaluations for adults and adolescents. Christene believes in catering to the therapeutic needs to of her clients. She often utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Adlerian Therapy.Christene works with both adolescents and adults to help them to work through issues of trauma, grief, anxiety and depression.

Christene received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. With experience working with individuals in both outpatient and inpatient settings, she has significant experience working with a variety of populations and ages in individual, family therapy and in group therapy and school based settings.
