Kevin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Clinical and Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and additional graduate course work at Oklahoma State University. From his previous career in education, Kevin has extensive experience working with children and families. Kevin was also a collegiate athlete and coached youth sports. Since relocating in Tulsa almost a decade ago, Kevin has blended that experience with training in his work in inpatient behavioral health facilities and in agency settings. Kevin’s background gives him a wide experience from which to draw in his efforts to help others in their journey.
Using mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and acceptance-based strategies, Kevin works mostly with adolescents, adults, and families, helping them create a mindful life that is lived with intention, purpose, and curiosity. Kevin also sees couples, helping them establish a meaningful and fulfilling relationship. This is another area where Kevin draws heavily from the philosophies centered around kindness and acceptance.
He successfully provides a safe, supportive, and healing atmosphere for both adults and teens who face a variety of issues including mental/emotional health concerns, relational issues, grief, trauma/abuse, anxiety, ADHD, and related behaviors.
