Stephanie Rogers graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science from Rogers State University in Claremore, OK and her MSW from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa. Stephanie has work experience in Community Mental Health which includes working with adolescents and adults with severe and chronic mental illnesses. Most recently, she has been working with adolescent females and veterans with complex trauma, anxiety, mood disorders and personality disorders.
She utilizes a Person-Centered approach to treatment and incorporates EMDR and TF-CBT in her work with traumatized individuals. Trauma is a distressing experience that causes disembodiment and impedes one’s ability to tolerate daily stressors. It is Stephanie’s goal as a therapist to facilitate a sense of safety and connection to one’s body and self.
