Veterans and Blended Family Therapist

Sue B. Warwick, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Therapist who has served in the counseling field for 40 years. Sue has worked in psychiatric hospitals, as an Employee Assistance Counselor with the Post Office, at the Baptist Children’s Home, and in Private Practice with individuals and families. As a former Military Family Life Consultant at various Military Posts in the country as well as 8 years as a therapist at the VA, Sue has a hope to provide services through the recent Mission Act designed to support and enhance the lives of  Veterans. Sue also has special training in helping Blended Families and has partnered with churches in the area to facilitate Seminars to assist with Step Parenting issues and Blended Marriages.  For over 20 years Sue has facilitated outdoor therapeutic weekend Retreats, along with an amazing team, designed to enriching lives, spiritually, emotionally and recreationally, through the use of the great outdoors, special speakers, music, experiential adventures, recreation and laughter.

 Sue believes in working with Client/Clients as a team, to accomplish goals that are designed to enhance relationships as well individual Resiliency.  Sue is experienced in using Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal therapy (specifically designed for helping with depression and grief issues) and overall Conflict Resolution as well as Brief Solution Focused Therapy with individuals and couples.

In her spare time, Sue enjoys being with her family, her Adult children and grandchildren, her Church family, her friends, her 3 Rescue Dogs , singing, seadooing, retreating and hiking in God’s Great Outdoors.
